Matthew McKenzie structures capital partnerships and growth strategy for real asset backed businesses. He works across both debt and equity, partnering with family offices, UHNW investors, and institutional groups to build companies with disciplined underwriting and long term ownership at the center.
As Senior Vice President, Capital Formation at Menlo Equities, he leads capital formation across the firm's private wealth channel, working with high net worth investors, family offices, and registered investment advisors. Previously he spent nearly a decade at Civitas Capital Group, raising capital across niche U.S. real estate strategies and managing investor relationships across North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Matthew also builds production AI tooling: MCP servers and Microsoft Teams bots that connect natural language interfaces to restaurant operations platforms (Toast, MarginEdge), plus integrations with Eight Sleep and other consumer health data.
